Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."

Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
